Well done England, good to see them take the game so seriously even though a loss still could've put them through. |

Are through to the play-offs for the under 21 Euros next Summer after topping the group unbeaten and they haven't lost in the past 25 games.
They played very well last night against a Portugal team that included Veloso, Manuel Fernandes and Vaz Te. - Agbonlahor troubled them everytime he got the ball and was a willing runner into the channels and scored a very good goal. - Noble also played well and was pulling the strings from midfield. - Huddlestone wasn't very good and I don't know why he insists on taking set-pieces when he's the tallest player in the team. His place is under threat from Cattermole who impressed when he came on. - Mancienne needs to take heading lessons off John Terry. - Milner was excellent on the ball but those moments were few and far between, I didn't even know he was playing until after half an hour. Like I always said, if you want to watch a good England performance, watch the under 21s.

Watch the match.
:P He got beat by crosses twice by hesitating and the defence saved him. He was the only City player that played. |

No idea why they didn't play. Ashley Young didn't either. It makes no sense calling players like that up if they aren't going to be included.
