It's nearly Christmas
Burnley 1-0 Fulham
Watford 1-0 West Ham

Hopefully the cups will throw up a few more surprises in the later rounds although I don't think you can beat last year...

Probably best for both

Maybe in the long run if they are fighting for survival in the Premiership, it wont do much good for their confidence short term though.

A loss like tonight makes little difference to a team's mentality...you see teams more dangerous after disappointment half the time.

Zola doesn't need distractions I think. And yeah fulham need to concentrate on the league.

i dont think both teams have enough strength in depth for that and would be really naive to play a weaker side especially with much need prize money up for grabs for both teams.

considering the teams they were playing i was a bit surprised to see them going out but it if it helps their league position come the end of the season its all good

Arsenal winning 6-0 against Sheffield United. :ph43r:

Roy Keane has given the Sunderland players a bolloking after they needed penalties to beat Northampton. Says the players went out with the wrong attitude thinking it'd be a stroll in the park ji-sung.
