the carling/league cup.
personaly i think its just become a bit of a joke, the only good it does is allow you to play youngsters or players coming back from injuries, other than that IMO its extra games we could do without.

Lower league clubs like it as well, if some clubs don't like it then they should'nt enter it

Ok look at when United won it in 2006 and the reaction of Fergie and then tell me its not important becuase i bet he would tell you it is.

It is an important competition that all teams want to win its just that the top 4 can afford to play the youngsters and why shouldn't they?

im not talking about fergie,im talking about you as fans,to me its just an extra few games we could do without, and if we win it or not isnt important, the FA cup on the other hand is nice to win.

it is nice to win the Carling Cup also are you suggesting that bc the FA Cup is more important that we stop playing the CC.. if that is your logic perhaps we should stop playing in the FA cup bc that is not as important as the league or the CL?

Yes i know but it clearly shows it is important when you see his reaction.

I think its a great competition :D becuase of the young players which makes it more important imo not less like you said before becuase it gives then a great chance to get use to playing in first team competitive games e.g. the atmosphere etc...

I think its still a decent competition, even though Everton never do anything in it.
