i heard that possebon could still have done his knee ligaments in though

Yes, which would still be a lengthy lay-off.

btw anyone seen this? I've heard some say he backed out of the challenge and because of this was hurt more than he would otherwise have been. But don't know how true that is.

I'll quote these from other forums.

"the fact that he's a technical midfielder and not a rough tough son of a bitch who opens cans of whoop ass on midfielders probably led to him pulling out and taking the force of the follow through."

"he's a soft midfielder, he should've gone in with him"

"why did he pull back?"

Not necessarily the best input but alot of people think so too.

Rubbish in my opinion.

Those that go in hard and put themselves on the line are more liable to get hurt. It's the skill players that have an ability to ride tackles.

thats good to hear, looks like vds will be alright as well :thumb:

i'm not sure VDS being all right is something to get excited about he is a liability so far this season. Great news about possebon though

i was thinking that too, if its a good thing or not. but then again how reliable is kuszczak? even he has his moments.

you see the problem is we have foster but hes injured. do we wait or do we sign another keeper in january?.

yeah im hoping to see more of foster but he's out for 8 weeks is it?

i say wait. i think i might be crazy to still have faith in vds but i cant help it. he was a great gk once upon a time and im probably being naiive to think we'll get that old vds back soon.

who would the possible signings be tho...
