Is that pic right at the end of the match when Spurs were winning 2-0? Think the owner brought it on more than the fans... |

the owner obviously made mistakes but the fans make it practically impossible for anyone except a billionaire to run a club and any except kevin keegan to manage it |

You can't say they brought it all on themselves. Certainly it's the owners, but are they the football club? Truth is clubs are nothing without their supporters, but we have so little say. I feel really sorry for Newcastle fans, it's not them who are to blame. Normally I say Venables would be a good interim choice, but for the long suffering Geordies he's just another cockney. Ashley is a useless tw4t who has been far luckier in business than brilliant. He was in the right place at the right time with his sports clothing business and must have had great people working for him. IMO he has made money despite himself, because he really couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery. He has no vision, no clarification of thought, no ability to consider the consequences of his actions, how he ever ran a business is absolutely beyond me. You know the old lot were bloody useless and a liability to the club, but at least they loved it. |

how many managers and owners have newcastle fans pushed out the door? bc of their moaning they have no manager and an owner who's only current concern is selling the club... how can you not say the fans deserve it, ashley was willing to build the club up and spend his own money doing it... maybe not arab oil money but his money and a lot of it none the less Newcastle fans have less patience with their club and manager than any i have ever known |

Ashley is an ar5e and he hasn't a clue about football imo. But at the same time I'm tired of hearing newcastle fans saying that nobody outside of newcastle can understand their club....nonsense which has nothing to do with football. Maybe the newcastle fans should wake up and realise they need to start understanding what managing a successful football club is about. YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE SACKED ALLARDYCE! |

That's bull Jeebus. Newcastle have sacked managers, frequently at the beginning of a season which always hurts, some have never had a chance. Fans don't sack managers, boards do. Ashley panders to his drinking buddies, who know f*ck all either on actually running a club. He's run it with his cockney mates who rarely go to games. Employing Keegan was a gamble, he hadn't even watched a PL game for 3 years, appointing Wise 2 weeks later was just a disaster waiting to happen. I don't know a single Newcastle fan who wanted the old board to sack Robson, and before that they made some awful choices, .....worst of all?... paying Blackburn (who reportedly were about to sack him) £3m as compensation for Souness and then Blackburn appointed the welsh team manager, Mark Hughes. All the geordies gulped then and said why didn't we think of that? The club is badly run, very now and not much better before. That isn't the fans fault! |
