almunia's eligable isn't he? cant remember a proper clanger that he's made for a while playing regular for a top four side i reckon if coppello can twist his arm he could be a very decent option for us

No way Jose! He might be a decent keeper but he shouldn't be playing for England just because he's lived in the country a few years.

A lot of goalkeeping depends on the defence infront of you, i'd still pick James tbh. Best English keeper by a mile the past few seasons.

Green is pretty solid at West Ham. Not sure if he has been in the squad recently though :S

Nope, he never gets picked. Remember when his glove manufacturers stitched onto his gloves something about him being England's number 5?

Doesnt get his british paspport until end of December this yr...............good keeper, prob currently better than anyone we have. Wouldnt bother me to see him play for England. There was talk about Cudicini doing the same thing, but he always said he wasnt interested.

when was the last time you did something for the first time??
indeed with the same ruling's we would never have had john barnes play for us i think rooney's more irish than english(although im not sure on that one) and look at other sports kevin peterson is SA but i perfectly happy for him to play for England
According to my calculations the problem doesn't exist

Why should we need other countries players though? I know it happens a lot with Brazilians playing for different countries but it's just not right. It should be restricted to players who have blood relatives in their immediate family or who were born in the country.

Nope, you an't cheer on a Spanish goalkeeper, it's just not right.

I meant Brazilian players playing for other countries...the likes of Deco. There were quite a lot in the recent Euros.

It's quite simple; they are better than what we've got.

Joe Hart for no1.
