FIFA don't do locial thinking.  <_<

It's UEFA :cheeky:

The problem won't be the stadiums, it's the fact that neither country has good infrasture and transport links. 1,500KM is a lot of roadway to build in a few years, having to get through planning appeals, CPO's (or the Polish or Ukrainian version), airports will have to be upgraded. Then you have all the accomodation, restaurants etc etc to be built. The idea was a good one, ie to give developing european nations a chance to host a major competition but UEFA completly as only they know how underestimated the timeframe needed to get everything organised.

Just as well they're a nation of builders

According to my calculations the problem doesn't exist

Could be the fact they will struggle to borrow enough money with all the probs going on around the world to pay for all that needs to be done.
