Just been watching MOD, showed indvidual Pool fans wearing red sitting in amongst rows of Blue. Cant imagine any other Derby in the Prem were that wouldnt be classed as taking your life in your hands lol. Maybe Pool (as in the city) are used to families etc being split and tolerate red or blue much better than anywhere else. There was even two kids with what was prob their dad, one wearing red and the other blue lol. Nice to see fans mixing that way.

lets not get too excited, it was one Pool fan not in the away section.

tbh, All the derbies i've been to (including local ones) have the odd fan scattered here and there.

The biggest thing which wouldn't happen is United fan out of the away section at Anfield, Elland Road, Highbury (and vice versa)

I've experienced more hostility at these games than derby matches

Not much chance of that one happening. :cheeky:

I don't think people would bother so long as they weren't being arse holes and calling the opposition fans who they are sat next too.

I dare say that there's plenty of fans go to matches every week and sit in the wrong section but they just don't say anything.

I've done it myself at the Valley...I couldn't help but clench my first and shout COMON (Lleyton Hewitt style)... B)

It was more than that fella, watching the game on the box I spotted at least 5 or 6 fans mixed in. Having been to the match in the past theres usually a shed load that sit mixed, pool fans in the everton stands and vice versa. Thing is that many families are divided between blue and red but attend the matches together and sit together. I know good few people who have sat in sections where theres quite a mix

Cant imagine a Gooner sitting amongst spurs fans at WHL, and or hammer claret in amongst a sea of blue at the Bridge lol. Maybe Liverpool (City) is unique in being a friendly (??????) split between red and blue. Is there the same kind of friendly divide in Manchester??????

It all depends on the type of people they are...if it's kids then nobody would bother.

I'd find it funny sitting next to a City fan, you could have a laugh with them when United win. <_<
