Ashley could sell Newcastle within 5 weeks to a South African consortium. Gaydamak might have to sell Pompey for £20m () to avert a financial crisis. The world's 6th richest man wants to hold talks with Hicks and Gillette with a view to buying Liverpool. |

One of the newspapers, it must be true. <_< Not really, it's bound to happen someday with Liverpool or Arsenal or both of them. It's the way football is now. |

Me neither but you never know, he could make them an offer that they can't refuse. Gillette did want out at one stage as well. I'm sure a £50m profit each would get them thinking about it... |

Greedy swines! Just shows they are only in it for the money then. Which is better/worse... An owner just there for a profit so they run the club like a business or an owner that will pump unlimited funds into the club? Tricky one. I'll get onto Bamber Boozle about it... |

you would be if they start buying top players iin the right positions flak they, chelsea and man city could outbid us long into the future. the glazers unlikely to sell to someone much richer anytime soon which is worrying me becuse sooner or later we would need a richer owner to compate with the other clubs |
