When we start to see £40 million bids left right and centre then it will destroy football. |

why you think so? money could bring small teams into the mix of the big ones aswll which would be a good thing for football having more top teams around

What happens to the clubs who don't get lucky and don't have a very good player on their hands to sell on? |

problem with all these super rich owners and throwing money around left right and centre, is that there are only so many top quality players about. Filters down that average players get sold for £xm for having a decent season, and it cascades down to the smaller clubs who live out of their depth. Hell in a hand-cart... |

if they wont get lucky they would have to snap top prospects which will be easier seeing and it would be easier to tempt them becuse getting into a big side will be hard in this circumanstances. they would make nice profits when they will be good enough then what top clubs have. with all the money a players flopping in a big side would be shipted out for much less.. |

Football went through a couple of "silly seasons" in early 2000's when transfers fees went really crazy. Calmed down a bit from the even with the likes of RA coming in. Its now the wages that have gone crazy more than the transfer fees. U can pay £30m for a player on a 5 yr deal, but the wages over that 5 yrs will cost u more than the £30m lol. |

I can't see that happening tbh Anvil. Top prospects are already being snapped up by top clubs, even when they are already having first team football with their clubs just to join the top clubs ressies. |

its happening now and it would in the future.. some of them will stay longer becuse top clubs would buy others. they would hold clubs to ransom like now only for much bigger money now which would help them compete in a better way then small teams currently do |
