Apparently Pompey turned down a £15m bid for him in the Summer because Redknapp thinks he's worth more than that. He wont say what club made the bid either incase Diarra wants to go there... |

Redknapp might be telling the truth for once. I doubt he'd just make it up at the risk of unsettling Diarra. He didn't want to wait for his chance at Arsenal, just wanted to play football. Has to be admired for that. Any ideas on the club? I'm thinking Man City before they bought Kompany... |

I like his attitude, rejected by team after team as a youngster, finally made a name for himself in France, joined and then left Chelsea for Gooners to get more game time, but that didnt work, so left a CL side to go to Portsmouth to play more. Money doesnt seem important.............he just wants to play. |

It's good for him that he wants to play football but bad for him that he has no patience. I think he could easily play for a CL team and I believe he knows it too. I wonder if he regrets his decision to leave Arsenal now. In all fairness to him he had no idea Flamini would leave but in all fairness to Wenger Diarra didn't give it long enough at the club for Arsenal to really try him out. |

Wenger showed a lack of faith in Diarra and never really gave him a chance in his proper position, he made the right decision (at the time) leaving I think. |

Diaby doesn't look bad when he plays imo the one thing that lets him down is he spends too much time on the ball. Diarra was played in CM a few times at Arsenal but Flamini was playing too well for him to get a run in the team. |
