Tim Cahill has lost the appeal to have the red card he recieved in saturdays derby overturned. Mike Riley sent off Cahill after he walked away while Riley was trying to book hin for a rash tackle on Xabi Alonso.

Just one thing, am I wrong, or this the same man who allowed Wayne Rooney to stay on the pitch despite the fact that he repeatedly told Riley to fork off over and over again to his face? Respect eh !

Tim Cahill plays for Everton, no chance of winning the appeal.

When was this?

Think Cahill got sent off for the tackle more than anything else.

k sa ra sa ra :P

the actual foul imo was not a sending off offence but because he turned his back on him and didnt take the booking he was given a straight red for disrespect, instead of showing him 2 separate yellow cards (1 for the challenge and 1 for lack of respect). was he booked earlier on in the match?

Knew he would be successful, definitly wasnt a red card but he did go in with two feet off the ground which is a straight red card according to the fa so they wernt going to recind it
