You should start up a thread Woody with GP coverage and Guide to the circuit rolled into one so the posts can stick in one thread. Massa for a Brazillian win but let's at least hope Hamilton keeps his nerve. Oh and DC's last F1 race

Hamilton will be on a complety different frame of mind though last year he was going there having thrown away the chance to win it and was under so much more pressure becuase of it this year he will go there so much more confident. I think Massa will be under more pressure than Hamilton becuase its in his home country and the pressure too win will be huge. |

he should be but we all know that there is no certainties in f1.everyone thought hamilton would have won it last year at china because of his 17pts gap over kimi and his gap over alonso (cant remember the gap really) and kimi came back and won.same thing happened this season, everyone thought it would be a kimi vs lewis battle again and everyone had written off massa after malaysia but look where he is now |

Like you said everyone had written him off so he had no pressure in comparison to Hamilton but now we will see how he does under pressure.

Lets not forget that last year hamilton had gearbox problems after about 10 laps, unable to select a gear he was passed by the entire field so then had the job of trying to get past some 13 cars in order to get to the fifth place he needed. It will take something like that to screw it up for him in Brazil simply. If his car remains as reliable as it has been this whole season then I cant see anything stopping him from getting that 5th place he needs. People suggest that Hamilton bottled it last year and it was his screw ups but it was a screw up from the pit crew in china that gave him a DNF and a gearbox failure for a short period in the final race that got him. Mclaren have been the most reliable car in the field this year. So long as his car remains trouble free he will take the title, its out of massa's hands now. IF I was lewis i would of course put in whats needed in qualifying and try and start on the grid in front of them but I wouldnt be too averse to allowing both ferrari's and potentially even alonso past him so as to keep out of trouble. Let Massa push and potentially make a mistake as Massa knows that its win or bust for him. |
