I really hope Hamilton wins this to finish in style but i think Massa will win this one. Hamilton should take the championship unless there's a major boob with the car or he gets wiped out! Good luck lad |

Raikkonen to wipe out Hamilton so his Ferrari team-mate can win. ![]() I do have a funny feeling that Hamilton is going to bottle it again though... |

He had a 7 point lead and then it went down to 5 points and now its 7 points again. Not bottling it imo.

Subconsciously, the pressure of the media may have gotten to him on some occasions this season. The fact that he was a rookie last season and 4th place would be respectable the pressure was much less upon his shoulders. But this season he was expected to win the title in only his second season and he was with another driver who only had one years experience under his belt, Kovalainen. Pivotally, he benefited by a huge amount with Alonso's experience in the Mclaren set-up. Personally I think he has faired very well this season bar a few hot-headed gun-ho decisions and manoeuvres but importantly he is still maturing as a driver. |

well technically he didnt, 2nd to last race he was flying in the wet, had the lead all to himself and the race was his to lose, sadly lose it he did due to a stupid decision from his team. They kept him out on a set of tyres that were wearing extremely fast, when they eventually gave him the call to come in he turned into the pits and the car lost control. Once it stopped it was clear to see that the tyres were down through the tread! In the final race he was happily in a position to win the title, only for a gearbox problem to see him lose speed, he was stuck in neutral for about 30 seconds, that was enough time for the entire pack to pass him meaning that he would have had to pass some 13 cars in order to get the points required. Neither were mistakes by him, so cant see how anyone would suggest he bottled it
