There was a rumour that when Sheringham signed for Utd he referred to the team as "Man (U)" in an interview. Afterwards, he received a dressing down by Fergie. Not sure if that rumour was actually totally accurate. |

Good post Treb, never really thought about it that way, to me it means nothing and just a shortend term but I can understand why it may affect some people. I still belive though that it should now be used without anyone taking offence to it though. What happened was a very long time ago. |
