United finished both seasons on a 56+ and 58+ GD in all fairness, so it's not really comparable.
what does gd have to do with luck?

seriously talk about useless info, i am talking about games and incidents in them

if liverpool are lucky this season which in my eyes has evened its self out in the stoke and spurs games then united have been in the last 2 seasons....
no

All teams need luck but United's goal-difference says it all. You've won around 3 games this season by more than a one goal margin...

Which I have nothing against, you deserve to be top.
Simmer...

so winning by a 1 goal margin is luck?

i know we deserve to be top because we have the most points. its funny how everyone who claims liverpool to be lucky, change the topic or refuse to answer my points when i bring stoke and spurs into the conversation. also united in the last 2 seasons.

Well ok, ur saying luck evens itself out, which i believe it does, but don't think it has for liverpool yet. I mentioned four points in which i felt liverpool were lucky (trust me, there are more) and you mentioned two were you were unlucky (albeit you may have more) but that is not even by my calculations.

And if you're telling me to take of my rose-tainted specs, you seriously need to take a good look at yourself. You're the most biased poster on this forum.

would you say united were lucky last season when refs gave them about 10 points? or if you are saying last 10 mins goals are lucky then make that 20 points

no

No i wouldn't say last ten minute goals are lucky - a game last 90mins after all. And what points did the refs give us last season. (Please don't say mascherano lol  )

the goal against united was fortunate i'll give you that but a forced mistake from pressure from our own players.

Valencia was booked first for rushing out of the wall before a free kick if i recall, seen plenty of players booked for that before so he can have no complaints, the second was stupidity from him knowing he was on a booking. Fail to see the luck in that, all I see is idiocy from Valencia.

As for Alonso's deflected goal, scraping the barrel there, we see countless deflections if we say every one is lucky in the sense posted then every team must get a fair amount of luck each season. US no more than anyone else thats for sure!

This has come up before and while I don't deny some luck on our part I think theres different types. Theres the kind you create from battling hard and playing to the death (something united fans should recognise well as its built half your prem titles, nothing disprespectful there, its all well deserved). Then theres riding your luck whereby you do nothing to deserve the results you get, thats something we certainly haven't had and thats the type of luck the original post seems to be about, don't see that its fair to attribute that to us.

All thats by the by really though, the comments in question are from the official united site so its bound to have some bias in it and created to pander for the fans. I would expect exactly the same kind of things from our own official site.

Yeh, but luck NEVER goes our way, the offside goal against Chelsea was the first lucky thing for Arsenal in as long as I can remember this season!
