They got Torres for a couple million more. At least Liverpool paid £10m less for Keane. |

![]() hes not worth 20m, i think they seen us coming and decided to fleece us. he seems like a shadow of the player he was at spurs. i dont know if he just needs to time to adjust to the different style of play and different pressure from playing at a bigger club. also without torres up front he has not been able to play his preferred position, i suppose only time will tell weather or not he has been a good signing once hes played behind torres for more than a couple of games |

Pretty conclusive, but what did Rafa see in him to spend that much money and I wonder if he'd change his mind now he's seen him play for a while. |

i think the reason behind him costing so much was because we wanted to keep it hush hush, plus i am sure after we signed him there was rumors that we tapped him up. i think he seen a good player as a partner for torres so he can revert to 4-4-2 or to 4-2-3-1 during a match. it enables the team to be able to adapt to the opponents weakness. i dont think he wanted to pay the 20m and the only reason i think it was coughed up was because the owners wanted to appease the fans |

rafa said he can play on the wing, up top by himself and in the hole. everyone else says he can only play in the hole. who was right? he also said the same about voronin but only once played him in the hole in the 8 0 win in champions league where he had a part in all the goals but then got used a s a winger. keane can only replace gerrard in the formation. IMO next game they should try keane and babel up front with gerrard and alonso in CM. the game is hull but im sure liverpool could deal with them without macherano. will also get best out of babel and keane IMO he worked well with berbatov cos he was constantly in and around him on the pitch and they are both cleaver players. if rooney could be more disciplined and stay closer to berba then i think we could see something special |

Always said it, he plays with his heart pity his talent doesnt match. Was never a top 4 player, finishing is too poor, Liverpool could of done better for 20 million, of course im not saying hes a bad player far from it just dont think its the type of players needed for Liverpool to win the league |

Where you linked with any other strikers before you signed Keane during the summer? |

IMO never worth 20mil but still a very good player, bit like heskey at iverpool not gonna be the main man just there to do the work however this isnt working to the standard he was at spurs, give him to the end of the season imo |
