First choice was Villa, but he wasn't interested in a move abroad. Then a choice between David Silva or Robbie Keane me thinks, and Rafa choose Keane for premier league experience. I'm split over Robbie... i do feel sorry for him at times when he is taken off in the 60th minute or whenever, when he's had a good game, but then the other side to it is that there are times when he has glorious opportunities and messes them up. He had 1 v Fulham, had one v Athletico Madrid, and others, luckily, they haven't cost us much, but what if he has another glorious chance and messes up, and then we go on and lose... obviously this won't do his confidence any good, but its about the team at the end of the day. That said, why pay £20 Million for someone you won't use. |

David Silva or Robbie Keane? They play in different positions so how was it a choice between them?

we never ever made a bid for silva it was simply a cover up so keane saga was not leaked to the press which failed.... benitez never bid for villa or silva or was even interested in them....his main target was keane, barry and dossena. he got 2 of the 3. keane was meant to be a 2 in 1 so he can replace gerrard OR torres if out which has failed |

All the sheep following simple thinking - ha ha Any player is worth what someone is prepared to pay for him - so keane is worth it. If Liverpool can't get the best out of him, does that makehim worth less (or worthless even) ? No - of course it doesn't |
