Of course they would becuase Adebayor is yet to prove last season wasn't fluke. He has 10 goals and 7 assists so far. Probably more assists its 7 in the league.

Adebayor last season was just as good as Torres I don't care if it was his first season playing that well and Adebayor already has 10 goals this season while being injured alot.

ahhh, the 'i don't care' angle of a debate. why didn't i think of that slant?

In that case, I don't care that Andy Johnson only had 1 good season, he's still the best striker in the prem :)

Yah becuase thats the same Adebayor's great season was last season and he is playing well again this season so it looks like it wasn't a fluke.

Adebayor overrated? How? Great power, pace, aerial ability, links play good, brilliant hold up play, and scored loads. Lots of assists too.

Lol you were saying Goonie

no way was adebyar as good. NO WAY. torres was better. torres at arsenal would of scored in the 40s. plus torres takes no pens....

torres was having a even better season then the injury hit him...

he was on such a role- 4 goals in 2 games and then injured. adebayor just misses to many chances to be as good as him. he can improve on this though

Adebayor of last season was better than Torres last season. Scored as many whilst doing much more work for his team and that is a FACT.

He doesn't get half as many chances as people make out he also has a record last season of 1 in 4 same as Torres. Adebayor also has 7 assists so he brings just as much to a team as Torres.

I rate Carrick, good player, but the praise he's got in recent weeks is the reason for his selection, commentators making out he's a wizard when he's not.

Torres would have had less than Adebayor. Torres wouldn't have had the chances Adebayor had either. Torres was no better than Adebayor.

You've had the Adebayor debate on the other threads before...the chance conversion rate being misleading is one of the points made...Adebayor's ability to gain more chances than most strikers was another point made....it went round in cirlces until page 17.
