simple way to eradicate this is to have all handballs, intentional or not, are deemed a foul.

Hockey have a similar foul with the ball hitting the foot whether it's intentional or not.

at least this way there wouldn't be interpretation of the alleged intention or not.
U would then have players aiming the ball at other players arms in the box to get a penalty. Not that dif to hit a players arms from 8 foot away.
If players arms aren't raised then even at only 8 feet away they wouldn't prevent a possible goalscoring opportunity whether it's deliberate or not. If arms are by their side in the box then no foul if the ball hits them imo.

i don't think many can hit a cows ass with a banjo, so not much chance of them hitting another players arms...

seriously, that is less likely than diego falloverski dropping everytime someone sneezes in the crowd. Aiming for an arm when the goal is 100 times bigger?

But the player hasnt got a keeper protecting him lol. Its not dif for me to hit a body at 8 feet, so how hard wold it be for a prem footballer to do the same.
