he talks about how players can buy out their contracts in the 3rd year, and then sign for another team in another country for free and claims the Webster ruling could ruin football. IMO hes just worried about the arsenal players doing this because of the way he signs the majority of them, just before they sign a pro contract at their "youth club" the sign for arsenal insted showing no loyalty to a team thats payed money for their development. whats to stop them doing this as they generally have small contracts compared to the man utd and chelsea players, and these other teams would easily give them a contract worth double for them to do this. we saw flamini leave on a free last summer cesc could buy out his contract and move to madrid/barca/ac milan/inter etc... if he wanted too |

All it does is benefit the player and agent. Clubs will give top new contracts every couple of yrs to stop this happening, which means more and more silly money being paid to players. |

Fabregas signed an 8 year contract last season so he can't buy out his contract. The majority of players Wenger signs shows him alot of respect and would never leave on a free like Hleb could have but he said there was no chance he would do it to Wenger or Arsenal he would wait untill they got money for him. |

why not? they left their previous clubs when the money was thrown in their face ( as done by other teams) i still think the fifa ruling regarding these type of issues is a joke....and of course players able to buy out their contract is also a joke |

it depends on if it was an extension or a new contract. if he extended his previous contract i think it could still happen |

Have there been any players actually take advantage of the Webster ruling? I can't think of anyone. |

How many chances did Henry, Vieria etc... have to leave and earn more but they respected Wenger to much to do so. Fabregas could have joined Madrid 2 seasons ago and earn more but he stayed becuase of Wenger I could pretend it was becuase of Arsenal and it partly was but mainly it was becuase of Wenger. |

henry and viera were winning things though, whos to say that after barca win la lige and possibly the champions league cesc doesnt think, actually i wouldent mind playign for barca i made the wrong choice when i left, as pique did at united realising he had a better chance of being first team at barca than at united |

I am 100% sure Fabregas wouldn't buy out his contract. All the time Wenger is there I can't see any player buying out their contract. |

With the way Flamini joined the club it shouldn't have come as a huge shock but it did simply becuase he was in the first team. |

If the arsenal players are unlikely to buy our their contract why is Wenger worried about it?
