I think its fantastic to consistently see the Arsenal keeper do what he is paid to do, making vital saves. He is quick to make his decision and comes out to smother any chance of a goal. Just last game against Wigan he made a match-winning save when the lead was crucial and in the balance. I think Almunia has been fantastic so far this season. In better form the other 'big 4 keepers', in my opinion. Who do you all think has performed the best from the Big Four goalkeeper list so far? |

You really think Fabianski has been the best? Even just in Carling Cup matches? I suppose he was brilliant against Man Utd when he came on. |

Gooner I think in match defining moments Almunia has been a blessing, its when the match isnt as important or tight he drops off and wont make those blocks that are desperately required |

The thing is with almunia, he's very consistant and a relyable keeper but he never does anythign amazing. You see cech, reina and VDS and they make world class save that they should'nt be able to get to that win/keep there team in a match where as almunia doesnt |

almunia has been good but can't work out that comment of being in better form than the other keepers in the top 4. Cech even though he hasn't been at his best is still one of the best around, his "poor form" is better than most keepers top form. Reina until saturday hadn't let in a goal in hours of football I believe. |

I dont think Cech is what he used to be. Almunia has won us at least 4 or 5 games this season. He does things that Jens never did, the main thing being that he knows how to come out and smother a shot from close range to the man striking the ball. |
