Had Campbell still been there we not have lost. Gallas was just as much at fault if not more. |

No my friend... It aint the forums objective to bring down every player that gets a mention... Saying that... I reckon brad friedel is a better goalie than almunia.. reina is one of the worlds best and i believe spain dont play him ahead of cassilas for sentimental reasons. Reina is waaaay better and should be spains number one.. (Cant believe im defending a scouser )

Thats because he plays for your club, we say the same for Al cos he keeps for us. I agree with gooner, the goals in question were not Almunia's fault, the only mistake he has made so far this season is the Aston Villa goal where he could have covered the post better but in all honesty it was a venomous strike and most keepers would have struggled with it. |

You don't have confidence in our goalie who has been saving goals at vital moments? |

No, I absolutely have no confidence in Almunia. I hold my breath whenever a corner is whipped in... |

Who's putting him down? most here are agreeing that he is an excellent keeper, just not as good as reina and cech as of yet |

We've been far better on corners lately than we used to be in my opinion |

He's a very good #2. Not so sure he;s good enough to be #1 at a top club... |

I feel he improves every half a season and in a minimum of 2 years will be one of the worlds best goalies |
