Carvalho was out for a while at different times throughout the year. And would Carvalho+Rio be good combo? Rio+Carra/Chellieni would be better imo

I wasn't really thinking about whether they could play together...these teams normally don't anyway when they get picked.

What do you have against Terry? :p

:o But Carragher was better last season? The Premier League disagree. :S

Theres always going to be disagreements in teams like this, for example I feel Cesc should obviously be in the team due to his participation in Euro2008 and his smoking hot form for Arsenal last season :)

Fabregas had a good first half of the season for Arsenal but then seemed to trail off. :S

Fabregas is just unlucky he's there at a time Xavi, Iniesta and even Senna are playing. He may have to go to Barca to ensure a regular start for Spain <_<

At the risk of a torrent, can I just ask :-

How come Rio is even nominated when even most Utd fans admit that he has had a pretty dodgy season so far.

Ditto VDS really (at further risk)

So how come these so called footie experts can't even workout who is having a good season based on form not reputation. Makes a mockery of the whole system me thinks

Bloody Rio - charmed life or what

Incase you didn't realise, Rio led United to the PL title and Champions League with a string of wonderful performances, most notably against Roma and Barcelona x2.
Simmer...
