The dates for the games against Fulham and Wigan have been set...

JAN

Sun 4th Southampton V United (FA Cup)
Tues 6th Derby V United (CC Semi 1st Leg)
Sun 11th United V Chelsea (Prem)
Wed 14th United V Wigan (Prem)
Sat 17th Bolton V United (Prem
Tues 20th United V Derby (CC Semi 2nd Leg)
Tues 27th West Brom V United (Prem)

FEB

Mon 2nd United V Everton (Prem)
Sun 8th West Ham V United (Prem)
Tues 17th United V Fulham (Prem)
Sat 21st United V Blackburn (Prem)
Sat 28th United V Pompey (Prem)

Feb doesn't look as bad but there'll also be the CL last 16 matches in Feb aswell so the extra Prem game makes a difference, especially after a hectic January.

Not too keen on the number of games on a weekday either. But hey you gotta laugh...

Aye Roo but it's the sheer number of games one after the other over such a long period, there'll be 8 games in December before that, and if we make it to the CC final it'll add to March. One hell of a rollercoaster 3-4 months!

Welcome to the world of what usually undoes the Gunners every year, fixture congestion. We will do better in the Jan-March period this year because we wont be seriously fatigued from matches every half a week.

Fergie wont be. :p

January doesn't look too bad to me in terms of the teams they will be facing and the cup comps in there too so it'll practically be a new team for those matches.

Kind of, I have no use of the word in an offensive manner so why should anyone be offended by that

what extra games u talking about for arsenal???

u play a completely different 18 in the carling cup, you were the first out of the big 4 to drop out of FA cup and CL. last season arsenal played the least games out of the big 4

that is just a poor excuse

True Treb the sheer amount of games isnt ideal but with the teams were playing theres room for rotation.

My thoughts exactly.

With regards to this season's fixtures congestion, i think its not too bad looking at who we have to play. This could be one of the best seasons for us if we pull off the league and perhaps another 1 or 2 trophies.
