Paul Ince survived Blackburn's board meeting on Tuesday but his future as manager depends on a quick upturn in results.

Ince has now been given time to turn things around.

Despite the united message being put across by the club's hierarchy publicly, it remains clear that there are splits in the board on the matter.

But while there is serious concern about the way the season has gone, there was never much of a chance that Ince would lose his job on Tuesday.

However, results must improve over the next four matches, against Wigan, Stoke, Sunderland and Manchester City, if Ince is to retain that level of support.

4 games too many in my opinion. Looks like he has been pretty lucky to hold onto his job if reports are true that there is a split in the board. Possibly the 4 games is a "Meet you half way" deal

Bow to the king mother forkers!
I agree 4 games is too much, thats 12 points that could be lost and if that is the case then Blackburn will be in deep trouble

Rumours are, if we lose at wigan this weekend then he is gone.

I dont want Rovers to lose so he gets the sack, i want us to win ey game we play.

I just want John Williams to realise he isnt the man for the job, everyone else in the board room realise hes screwing us up. Big business like this, there is no place to be a nice guy john. Let him go
