i think its a good move because he may turn things around in those games and theres no point sacking someone with the xmas period coming up.

I said on this forum that Ince was a good choice for Blackburn, I knew he'd need time but tbh thought that there would be no chance of Blackburn getting relegated because I thought Stoke, Hull and West Brom would all struggle big time meaning relegation wasn't a possibility.

As I was clearly wrong on that the decision has proved it self to be more risky. I like to see managers given time, but with players like Warnock and Santa Cruz possibly leaving in January (and probably if he stays) then Blackburn have to consider the position very carefully. If Ince can do well in those next 4 games, life might not look so precarious. I think up to 4 games is more accurate, if he loses the first he'll need to win the second to keep his job. Managerial life in the PL, I'm afraid, is not fair.
