err i don't think our current league position has anything to do with it. These kind of surverys dont just happen overnight you know. The woould have more than likely started it months ago, potentially before this season even started and are just getting round to revealing the early results of said data.

The only true way to measure this is through the amount the club makes in Merchandise sales. That will give u the best reading on most supported club.

the last survey was taken 3 years ago. would that have been before or after the cl league success in 2005 :S

if so that probably has a lot to do with it, as well as winning the fa cup in 2006.
