Quite excited about this Chretien.
It's just a shame his name sounds like "cretin".

Hamann is too old now I think. Big Sam will no doubt bring in established Premiership players though.

Things slowing down on this Chretien bloke, our scout went to watch him at weekend but the game was called off. Scout should be at next match but Sevilla are very interested.

Givet should sign after his medical on loan with a view to buy at end of season for £3-4 million i think, Zoro is playing in a reserves match today which kicked of at 2 0'clock against Huddersfield i think.

Blackburn also interested in Wigans Ryan Taylor who will be available on a free in the summer. Wigan do not want to let him go in the Jan window

Happy with him? :S At least he shouldn't take too long to settle coming from France.

Very happy, got a pretty impressive CV. Capped for France so has to be decent. Not played muched this season due to a falling out with the manager.

Apparently he has been very impressive in training. Glad Sam is tightening up our defence.

Anelka recommended Rovers to him also, so bring on Anelka when he gets dropped from Chelsea

I officially love Sam Allardyce. Hes said it will take £40 million to buy Roque, the guy is off his forkin rocker. Brilliant

Also

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce yesterday swooped for Senegal international Babacar Gueye - the striker hailed as the new Emmanuel Adebayor (believe it when i see it)

Gueye, 22, plays for Metz and has impressed Rovers scouts with a £1.3million deal on the cards.

Or is he a nutter because he's pricing Cruz out of a move when he doesn't want to be there and his performances might suffer just like McCarthy's last season.

Never heard of the guy. :S Do Blackburn need another striker if Santa is staying?

"The bottom line is, we don't want to sell Roque Santa Cruz,"

"For me, we won't be selling Roque Santa Cruz, that's a certainty. The money is no good to me at this stage of the season. Roque Santa Cruz is more valuable to me and more valuable to Blackburn Rovers than the money, whoever might offer.

"There's £40million at stake [to stay] in the Premier League per year and I don't think anyone is going to offer us £40million for Roque Santa Cruz. The value of Roque as a player for us is far greater than what anyone could give us in terms of money."

Sums it up perfectly i think.

We need more options up front. Benni and Roberts arnt gonna be on form all season. Derbyshire unfortunately isnt premiership quality which is a shame.

If Roque goes, Janko is being lined up as his replacement

if cruz no longer wants to play for blackburn you might as well sell him and get someone in who will put 100% in

Hughes says he's still interesting in signing Santa.

Big Sam says he's only looking to bring in players on loan so he mustn't have any money. Surely it'd make sense to sell?

"We've had a look at a few trialists this week (Marco Zoro, Babacar Gueye and Jean Calve), but we don't feel they are going to improve the first team immediately." - He turned them all down.
