Palacios is quality IMO. He's bound to move sooner than later. Ran West Ham ragged on the first day of the season, he's a beast in the middle of the park. Can pick a pass aswell and he aint no slouch.

They already had 3 players in his position...

Always a risk buying Wigan players considering the ones that have left and not done too well.

if i remember right flamini was fullback,diarra at chelsea and diaby in the reserves

he opted to pay for diarra and promote diaby and flamini then signing palacios for free

flamini was playing midfield which was always his position, he play Right and left back because we had noone else.

Diaby has been in first team squad for years

we also had gilberto midfield and diarra was obviously on the cards so he must have chose diarra over him
