They've already got enough central midfielders for the time being.

Palacios has virtually agreed a deal with Spurs according to Steve Bruce. Just the player they need tbh.

Harry Redknapp was lying. :o

good signing for spurs if true. he would take alot of pressure off modric that would help the latter to rediscover his top form again.

Didn't expect him to go there! but Harry has struggled to loosen other team's grip on their players, that's because from 8th down all teams parobably consider themselves still in the relegation fight.

I did, he's just the type of player that Spurs are crying out for. I bet Redknapp would have gone for Lasagne had he of not been so expensive and Madrid not wanted him.

Yep a lot of clubs will have difficulties bringing players in.

The Daily Mail claims that the Red Devils have matched Spurs' Ł14 million offer for the 24-year-old and believe they can persuade him to move to Old Trafford.

But the Daily Mirror alleges that the Citizens are lining up the former Birmingham City loanee as a partner for the potential arrival of Kaka in the centre of their midfield.

Bruce has just said on SS News that another club bid for Palacios late last night. I was gonna say that perhaps Arsenal and Spurs are fighting for him, but just read what MT's posted above :S

Interesting news for Wigan and Tottenham fans. Latics midfielder Wilson Palacios was meant to be on the brink of a move to Spurs but Wigan boss Steve Bruce has just said that there was a "late development with another club last night". For the record, the Honduran has also been linked with Manchester United and, of course, Manchester City. Anyone out there who hasn't been linked with either City or Spurs?

SOmeone who will score goals and create chances. He won't. He's strong and a tough tackler. He doesn't offer much more than that from what I've seen of him.
