petrov, hamann and fernandez i think (last two may just be not getting played).

if they had kept sven i dont think there would be any problems

What difference would Sven make?

Petrov is a blow, think he got re-injured playing for Bulgaria didn't he? At least they have Robinho in as replacement for the time being, not too bad.

Hamann is getting on a bit now, wouldn't be surprised if they sell him soon. He is injured until April apparently.

I agree, and he would have attracted the big name players City are after

not just that but he would have sorted out their defensive issues aswell

City should try for Toloulan(sp?), shouldn't be too hard to convince him to leave Lyon, I think they've won the league last 7 years running or something

The same Sven under who they lost 7-1 to Boro or something like that?

Great shout Paddy, he should be at a Champions League club though...

Yeah he's a class act, but for me thats the kind of players City should be after, if they managed to sign a few players like them then they could seriously be pushing for top 4 then.

True Paddy, think they need regular UEFA Cup football first though before players like that would agree to go unless they are just after the money.

Santa would be a bit of an improvement....depends if he can stay fit.

Wouldn't buy Cruz myself, seems to be a one season wonder unfortunately. Should try and nick a few players off Everton and Aston Villa, would help them leapfrog them aswell.

That was after 4 months of rumours coming out the club that Sven was getting sacked, unsurprisingly that has an affect on the players and the manager. Instead of looking at one match when he was already being kicked out have a look at the rest of his club management career. Also ask a few ppl on the continent how much he's respected by players and clubs alike across Europe.

I think Sven is a much better manager than Hughes, couldn't believe it when he was sacked.
