Listen, we all know rafa was not happy at the fee paid to spuds for keane. this is one of the reason he is asking for control of money spent in his new contract we also know that depending on appearances made by keane for liverpool (i think it is starts only) that liverpool will ower spuds another 2 million because they only paid 19m.... i think rafa will shift him out end of the season and the main reason he isnt playing him a lot is so he doesnt invoke the fee appearances clause....this will save liverpool 2 million and liverpool could sell keane for around 12 million and accept a 7 million loss |

I would be suprised if its true. If that is the case then why not sell him back to spurs this month. |

who knows...maybe the clause requires full games to be completed? we know 2m fee will be given to spurs depending on appearances.....this is a logical explanation to why keane isnt being played often |

im still suprised at how little an impact Keane has made at Anfield. I really thought he was a wise purchase but doesnt look half the player he was a spuds. |

Harry at Spurs, he brought Defoe back why not Keane... If Liverpool play their cards right they could do a straight swap for Bent

First i've heard about a £2m fee for appearances. ![]() Are you saying Rafa never wanted him in the first place? I don't think he seems like the type to take other people meddling in transfers and buying players he doesn't want. |

Defoe is poor... he always strays offside way too often. |
