Big one is Evans. How long till Rio back? week to 3 weeks is it? The rest we have cover for so as it stands its not a crisis but definately a cause for concern. |

well we currently have no cover for Cb since Brown is still out, and we have absolutely no cover for LB... i hate playing O'shea in defense, i'd rather have a gorilla playing in his place, he's actually been horrible in the last 3 or so games i've seen him play in. Maybe we should recall simpson from blackburn? |

i really hate seeing john o'shea... i used to not mind him and think of him as a good utility player, but i don't feel that he is even that anymore... |

Could have Him at CB and Fabio LB. CB is JOS' best position. |

But when we really look at it... fabio is just returning from injury, hasn't started a game for United yet... and its against a team as strong as tottenham who have players like modric and lennon troubling down the right along with defoe and bent in the middle... could be a tough game for us unless tevez and berbatov can really step it up and we pull out a performance similar to the one we had against chelsea. |

This reminds me of 2 seasons ago when our whole back line dropped like flies one by one and we got battered by AC Milan in the CL

Its the middle of the park i'm most worried about tbh. We aint got a CM that can tackle. The backline, although not ideal, we can live with the way it is atm. Vidic will keep us together hopefully

I'm the opposite MT, we got enuff midfielders who can tackle - Anderson, Carrick, Fletcher, even Gibson if we're desperate. We only got Vidic and Neville to rely on at the back and against Tottenham I don't think that's good enuff tbh. The only saving grace is they might have a few injuries of their own... |

Anderson is out injured, Fletch will prob be covering at RB and Carrick can't tackle at all and wont even try Vidic and Neville willbe more solid than Evans and Vidic I reckon... Yeh they're missing a few players for tomorrow night i heard.... |

Damn it forgot about Anderson. Still not sure whether Fletcher will cover RB, I reckon Fergie may prefer to pack the midfield with Fletcher and Carrick for the reasons you said about needing players who can tackle. The trouble from Spurs imo is from the wings in Bentley's crosses and Lennon's runs. Park will play to provide cover for OShea. Modric in the free role so Carrick + Fletcher to counter... ----------------------VDS------------------- ???--------Vidic--------------Neville------JOS Ronaldo------Fletcher-------Carrick------Park ------------Tevez-----------Berbatov-------- |
