Just can't think of who else is out there who's gonna do better, and Liverpool seem to be a work in progress, but it's Rafa's work in progress and to not renew his contract will mean starting again, and as I said who else will do better.

So in short you got a heck of a better chance of winning the title under Rafa inside 4 years than without him. I could never say that about Houllier tbh...

Just add to that btw you need to be able to win it sooner rather than later in that 4 years if you are going to depend on players like Gerrard, Carragher, Alonso etc...

No better man than rafa in my eyes.

Agree with treb, I have to admit one of the main reasons I want a title soon is so Stevie can lift it. Would be a killer if he didn't.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

I've noticed this in more recent seasons but every year tbf to Rafa he adds another valuable piece to the jigsaw. Additions of Agger, Torres, Masch are the quality to fill key positions, almost all world class which you've never had so many of at Liverpool in a fck of a long time. I imagine another possible world class transfer in the summer for the RW. When each of the pieces are filled I expect Liverpool to be seriously ...damn it I don't know how to finish this sentence, I can't bring myself to say it

I'm sure you'll keep Agger, I think a lot of what Rafa says in public has ulterior motives, he just wanted to big up Agger and show his loyalty to him. I am sure you're gonna buy a big name RW in the summer tho, don't ask me why I just see quality in every position except that one, and he seems to be filling each position with world class players and that seems to be the next one left.

18 months is still long enuff imo, just thinking of other examples and Wes Brown only had 6 months left on his contract before United renewed it last year.

Not many better, tbh.

But I'm still not convinced Rafa is capable of getting the title.

I'm happy he is the manager of Liverpool, because i don't think they will win the Prem under his tenure
