The technique was amazing you won't find many 17 year olds that could that. |

![]() i'd be looking for new scouts if any 17 year old signed to a club was unable to kick the ball with the outside of the boot! |

To try it and execute it is fantastic for any player of any age...it's not an easy skill generating power and cleanness in the strike with the outside of your boot, especially when you're static. |

 You won't find many players his age that can do that so all scouts should be sacked. |

It's like commenting on Beckham's goal against Wimbledon... 'How does this warrant its own thread, professional footballers should be able to kick a ball 50 yards.' |

You may be joking, but it's nigh-on impossible to use the outside of your weaker foot effectively

The guy is a 17 year old professional footballer. You would expect him to be able to do that, weaker foot or not. It is a good enough goal. Had it been in the Champions League final, then it would get rave reviews. But in a reserve match with no pressure ?? |

You expect him to finish like that? No one should be expected to be able to finish like that. It was a brilliant finish reserve match or not.

Jack Wilshere doesn't feel pressure. He just gets on with it... |

From players I have watched at local club level, there are quite a few 17 year olds (and younger) who can hit a ball with either foot. Can you believe they actually practice doing it ? Now if kids who play for fun can do it, I imagine a professional would be even better. |
