RYAN GIGGS has claimed the current Manchester United team could be the best yet. The veteran winger, 35, has enjoyed an illustrious career including 10 Premier League titles and two Champions League medals. But with United chasing glory on four fronts this season, in addition to their Club World Cup victory, Giggs believes this generation could be the greatest. He said: "Last year, we won the Champions League and the Premier League - and we won them in great style. "But to talk of a great team, you need six or seven consecutive years of dominance. "This side is good enough to do that, because all our young players can improve. "Basically, I think this year we have the best United team ever." |
| According to my calculations the problem doesn't exist | |

It's nearly Christmas

Not sure about that. Looking at the starting 11s i'd say United's attack, midfield and goalkeeper are worse now. The strength in depth is a lot better than what it was. I always look back at the squad for the treble winning season and think it's pretty bad by today's standards which shows how football has moved on since then. There were still some quality players back then though and you could make a brilliant team combining players from then and now. |
