Don't ya think? Months of hyped up bollocks, that this team has x amount to spend etc, and not much has happened in all honesty. No-one have really spent a lot apart from Spurs (again) and Man City. The two biggest mugs in the transfer market. Reckon it's all gonna take off in the last week or whatever? Also, can ya see your club signing anyone in the last week? |

MoN is usually busy in the last week on the market, but tbh most managers said that it will be a very quiet one finacial crisis and all that |
| According to my calculations the problem doesn't exist | |

Quiet compared to all of the rumours flying about (as always) but I think it's been one of the busiest January transfer windows so far. You don't normally see the Premiership clubs buying players off each other like they have this window. |

Raul's girlfriend? There's probably been more money spent so far than the whole of last January already... I just looked at last January and here are the notable signings: McFadden - Birmingham £5.75m Diarra - Pompey £5.5m (made £14.5m in a year from him )Cahill - Bolton £5m Anelka - Chelsea £15m Ivanovich - Chelsea £9m Skrtel - Liverpool £6.5m Caicedo - City £5m Da Silva twins - United £5.2m Alves - Boro £10m Woodgate - Spurs £8m Defoe - Pompey £9m Total about £85m ......... Ljajic and Tosic to United. £16m Defoe back to spurs for £15m Wayne Bridge to City. £11m Palacios to Spurs £14m De Jong to City £17m Bellamy to City £14m Total about £85m Edited by flak, Jan 23 2009, 01:07 PM.

So around £84 million and Arshavin could yet sign for £12 million plus. |

Plus Heskey and Hunt another £9m if their deals both go through. Will probably be quite a lot of last minute deals next week too... |
