He's had an operation on his knee. Massive blow for Villa's top 4 hopes.

Massive loss having Laursen out for that period of time. Been one of the best centre backs in the league over the past couple of years. Villa are due a massive dip in form and have been rather lucky of late IMO. They aint got all that good backup either as I've seen from the UEFA Cup games.

Has he even played that many games? :huh: I know he's been injured for a while.

Davies seems alright, Knight is a bit of a liability though (apart from when he scores against Arsenal :cheeky: ).

Could be worse I guess.
