They have agreed a fee for Hunt and a loan deal for Mido. I can see another one or two good signings I think Wigan will be fine.

I can't see them struggling to stay up this season (10 points from bottom) but I do think they will be weaker by selling those players...where's the money (£19m) gone?

Shame really cos they were on a good run recently.

I'm sure I read that they weren't going to sell Valencia the other day. Don't think they have many/any more players that the top clubs would be interested in...?

Yeah loan with a view to a permanent signing I think. There were some top clubs linked with him but i'm not sure just how good he is.

That's two strikers they have on loan now. :S

they have camara as well flak :p

they wont get relegated because they still have some decnt players in midfield and defence. as long as bruce uses the money available wisely things should be ok

Camara the striker? He's not done much since that first season when he was partnered with Roberts.

yeah thats the one. he still chips in with the odd goal tho

it will weaken them no doubt euros. dont they have cattermole, koumas and taylor as well in midfield? still a better midfield than a few teams around them imo

newcastle, sunderland, fulham, bolton, west brom, stoke, hull, boro. a few of those teams have a couple of decent players but they dont play as a unit like wigan do. dont forget wigan are 7th, if they can add a decent replacements for heskey and wilson they will finish top 10
