Milan have officially signed Aly Cissokho and Adriano Galliani maintains this is the start of “a new young, fresh and competitive team.” The 22-year-old Porto defender can play both right-back and left-back and, although no official figures have been named, it’s believed he was signed for £13m. “The negotiations during the night were intense,” Vice-President Galliani told the official club website. “We consider Cissokho to be a wonderful player and the proof of that is in the interest shown in him by some of the most important European clubs. “At the end of the day the friendship between sides after so many years proved decisive, as in the past we were co-founders of the G-14 with the Porto directors.” Cissokho has been compared to Marcos Cafu and is considered one of the brightest young prospects on the market. Milan were criticised for their ageing defence, but with Cissokho and Thiago Silva that is no longer an issue. “The introduction into our squad of Thiago Silva, who is not yet 24, and Cissokho not yet 23 show a precise way forward for Milan,” continued Galliani. “It is the start of a new, young, fresh and competitive team that can balance the books. We will continue in the next few days in weeks in following this approach.” |

Did you see my reply the other day in the Shoutbox Ricky? He was decent against United in the Champions League. Had Ronaldo well marshalled. |

Should do quite well for them then. Start of the spending from Kaka's sale. Lot of new players needed.

Midfielder, why? ![]() I can only think of a winger needed and that's not essential as Leonardo's sticking with the 4-3-1-2. AC need another world-class striker and they desperately need Dinho to perform in the hole. |

Need to keep have an alternative to Pirlo and give him a rest. Definately don't need a winger. Ronaldinho won't do anything next year |

"In 27 years as a medic, I have never had to refuse a transfer as a result of problems related to teeth," Mandozzi told Daniele Perticari of Goal.com Italia. "There could be two problems here. The first may be linked to the presence of granulomas which could affect human muscle or the heart. "The second could be an orthodontic defect which can be solved with the use of a brace. Both problems can be cured with the right medical treatment. |
