every non EU player must go through this process, it's all red tape.

as long as he's either played 75% of his countrys games or 75% of his clubs games over the past year he's in (an even then you can mitigate it against injury, rotation, potential etc)

If City gel quikly then, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal should worry. I would go as far as saying that they could mount a challenge for the title.

It may be an interesting strategy that City are persuing at present. They have taken Gareth Barry from a direct rival in Aston Villa, Carlos Tevez from United (i know he technically wasn't a United player), looks like they may be close to getting Adebayor from Arsenal and they have imo set out to unsettle John Terry from Chelsea. Very interesting and a very much agressive transfer policy which has hit out at their direct rivals
