Johnny Cash. Cover of 9 inch nails song, but better than the original. Bill Withers is a good track, but Hurt is a poignant classic for me. |

I came close to going for Jimmys, but had to go for myself as I didnt want to lose and its probably one of my favourite songs. Cash was a genius IMO. |

I agree... He is one of the few country artists I truly appreciate and not only later stuff like 'hurt' (which is absolutely brilliant no doubt about that) but also brilliant songs like 'San Quentin' and ' A boy named Sue' |

Agreed, I used to be very one minded in my music taste. But when my dad died RIP, he had loads of LP's of Cash, and listening to them the guy had so much to say. Cant think of anything I dont like about his style. |

He wa the self styled man in Black and he would always take the side of the underdog... and that shows in his lyrics too... tbh I don't really like country but Cash his lyrics are what makes it great music... |

Same as, like I said Cash opened my ears to other genres of music when I was younger. |
