Carlos Tevez has claimed Real Madrid made an approach for his signature before he chose to join Manchester City. Tevez completed a reported £25million switch to Eastlands this week, signing a five-year contract after his two-year loan spell at rivals Manchester United expired. The Red Devils offered the Argentina international the chance of a permanent stay at Old Trafford but the forward opted to join Mark Hughes' ambitious project at City. It is suggested Chelsea and Liverpool were also keen to sign Tevez, who claims he had the opportunity to join his former Red Devils team-mate at Real. "Real made an offer but there was no agreement," Tevez told the Nation newspaper during a promotional visit to Abu Dhabi with his new club. "There were talks about deals and agreements but in the end it was only City. They showed lots of interest in me and are intent on growing and signing big players. "I am sad to leave United but I am excited to join City. I'm thinking about the future and I will grow with this club." I really like the attitude of this guy

surprised hes openly came out and said that, could cause some controversy. Im doubtful about how reliable these quotes are, not many would turn down real with the money and players they have. |

So he had the chance to stay at United, join Liverpool or jpoin Real. And he choose to go to the club least likely to win the Prem/ECL this season. Make up your own mind on that. |

His attitude from January onwards was pathetic. Spoilt little kid threw his toys out the pram and couldn't stop running to the media in one of the most important periods of United's history. |

Oh IRIR I really would love to have a decent conversation with you, but honestly you are getting as bad as LFC now with your bias..... Tevez, wasn't played, and was P!ssed about that because fergie had said he'd have a bigger role, and when he played he gave his all.... Yeah terrible attitude......
