It's nearly Christmas
Hleb didn't like playing out wide...so left. Same thing could happen with these 4 current wingers who I believe all prefer to play down the middle.

arseshavin doesn like to play on the right tho. what about walcott and denilson wont play that much next season especially if you sign another player.
So what if he doesn't, he isn' playing behind the striker unless there are injuries. Nasri doesn't like playing out wide but he does. I don't think Nasri or Walcott will play as much if Rosicky and Arshavin are fit and Denilson will play unless we sign someone imo.
with him on the right and nasri on the left you have no width. clichy and sagna may bomb on but there not protected by the players in front. arsenals play sometimes comes congested because of this. that all depends on rosicky being fit and firing on all cylinders tho

Nasri has already said he doesn't like the Zidane comparison and said he would like to be like Pires for us, so he obviously doesn't mind playing wide as Rosicky didn't. Arshavin not sure we will have to see. Walcott will be loyal to us I think. :)

@ Fields, they do offer width but they prefer coming in side which is something they are encouraged to do. Wenger likes playing his play makers out wide which is why I don't see Arshavin playing in the middle, same with the others which is sad becuase when Nasri played behind the striker he was involved in EVERYTHING he was excellent.

Old Hag
no.

didn't he say that if things carry on the way they are after another season he will make some drastic changes, i.e. spend some money?

arseshavin would be a lot better in the role that nasri :p

there not hug the touch line wingers. they dont stay wide. when the come inside it leaves gaps behind and means clichy and sagna have a lot more work to do
