...and English. I just don't see Everton letting him go and taking a step backwards themselves.
Neither can I <_< at least not unless we make them an offer they can't refuse, which willmost probably be a ridiculous amount of money....

They want him to partner Terry, imo i think it would be better to keep Dunne than him

20-25m added to Everton's tranfer fund would be better than keeping Lescott imo. Jagielka and Yobo are more than good enough and 2 seasons ago Lescott played LB and they did fine then. I just think the overall improvement of the squad and probably first 11 would happen if he had that money added to the 10-15m he already has. That is if it is added.

Dunne is only going to decline at his age. He wasn't great last season for them.

Depends if there's players out there that Everton can buy/attract that will improve them Gooner. Rather have a good player on the pitch than money in the pocket.

“The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they do not know the game.”
why would lescott want to leave a team that is capable of breaking the top 4 if the right signings are made this summer? also hes first choice and moyes showed a lot of faith in him.

that being said tho, everton dont have much money and have debts. moyes wont have much money to spend either, so if city make a big bid i.e £20+m then i can see everton seriously thinking it over
