The signing City have made has been good. BUT i don't think its enough at the mo.. they need to buy a world class in the mould of fabregas, gerrard etc... and also don't think the strikers they have bought are on the level required.. when they shouldd be chasing the likes of luca toni and diego.. but then i guess its a building process and perhaps next season they can target them |

a couple of top center backs and they should get into the top 6. they may have to ditch a few players because some will get unhappy at the lack of football. once they have laid the foundations, they can start worrying about "world class" players. |

i think that will come. he will want or need to get them established pretty quickly. once he gets his main squad sorted and capable of achieving honors he will look to develop youth prospects. he will only have a short space of time to get them on a platform were they can challenge, so he needs players to be able to get him instant success. quite a few of the players he has are under 26, so they have time to gel and progress |

25yos are perfect really - best age group to buy players - they will get 5 years together and all end up in their prime together. |

We have plenty of talented young players, that's not the problem... we lacked experience which is what we got... we need to strengthen our defence and we'll be good for a top 6 spot, and then next season we'll challenge for a top 4 spot BTW I wouldn't take Luca Toni if they offered to give us money for him

Just defenders now really then I think they'll be ready for this season. You can't buy too many players at once as it'll upset the squad. They have Ireland who was one of the best central midfielders last season. Buying a Diego or somebody like that would see him maybe dropped. Luca Toni? I'd rather have Bellamy.

Not enough? They have at least two good players for pretty much every position besides defence which they'll strengthen. That's better than Everton, Villa and Spurs...

The Pound For Pound Number One Widely Recognised As The Greatest Of All Time
|
Over £200 million spent by Hughes in his reign as City manager. Title or fail in my opinion. Spurs, Villa and Everton would probably win the title with £200 million. |
