Aston Villa linked with Hutton (£5m) and Jenas (£10m) today in one of the papers. I guess Hutton wouldn't be a bad buy for right back if he's over his injury problems. Not sure about Jenas...

That would be good business by Villa as the need to bulk up their squad and Hutton is a good rb when he is fit, I quite like Jenas I would say he would do a good job for Villa in the midfield

These would be good buys. Hutton would be their first choice RB imo. And if O'Neill can get the best out of Jenas, he could be enough to replace Barry.

Oh I dunno about first choice right back, he's got his work cut out displacing Reo-Coker who again played there in their pre-season match.

Jenas any better than Sidwell?

not a chance. young was one of our most consistent players last season. if he doesnt play this season i will be very unhappy.

id prefer not to buy him when we have sidwell. would much rather spend the money trying to get defour.

about half and half in the end. shows his versatility and played as well as alot of LB's last year imo.

anyway bouma should be back by september so he can go back to rb :)

I can see Bouma being used more of a CB this season.

No Bouma is average height... he certainly ain't a giant, but he ain't a midget either... he sucks at playing CB though...
