As a footballer Vieira was the better player.

Saying that I'd much rather have Keane in my team.

viera all the time, he had decent end product to his dominating style. i remember gerrard saying viera is the best cm he has ever played against and i agree

keane was top class as well, lacked a bit in the attacking department but made up with it by being a leader. but let down by his poor discipline.

Funny that, because I remember Gerrard saying that Keane was the best midfielder

Quote:

"I've got nothing but respect for Roy Keane," Gerrard insists in a Merseyside brogue confirming that taking the boy out of Huyton does not take Huyton out of the boy. "I'm a massive admirer of his, he's been the best midfielder for the last decade. If I can achieve half of what he's achieved, I'll be very happy."

Keane for me.

Was the most influential and demanding player I've seen for United.

Defo Keane. Just for the simple fact that with him on the pitch you know everyone will put in their fair shift.

Imagine Keane and Ronaldo/Berbatov in the same team.
