I thought u would be a Dylan fan Az, some of his work is musical genius
I think he works better as a composer over a performer!

strange on this.

Imagine is an ok song, which was thrust into the public arena after he was assinated. Not his best, but probably his most famous, individual peace of work.

Watchtower is definitely better by Jimi (white boys listen to Jimi, but they can't hear Jimi....). Never been a Dylan fan, don't get him. But his importance on rock/live music cannot be understated. His voice was accurately described on Radio 4 today a 'awful but strangely captivating' and I totally agree

After a ponderous few minutes, Dylan gets my vote
Did you know that jimi had an immense admiration for dylan. He loved the lyrics, which is why he covered all along the watchtowerhe actually said the following about Dylan "I felt like 'all along the watchtower' was something I had written but not could never quite get together. I often feel that way about Dylan. Anyone who doesn't appreciate him should read the words of his songs. They are full of the joys and tragedies of life." ;)
